What to Expect from Draftboard!

Hello all drafters!

Here is the rundown of what you can expect from Draftboard!

Here at Draftboard, the goal is ultimately to create a foundation, and provide a sense of realism to the phrase, "Music is a universal language." As a songwriter, I want to be able to help make that idea a reality, through my own songwriting experience, and ultimately through the stories that you all share with music of your own.

There are a few key ideas to the site, which include the following:

 01. I will post portions of songs that I wrote, every week. Provided with explanations of why they are important to me, the inspiration behind the song, and a mini voice recording of the song, to flesh it out to the reader/listener. This section will be provided with comments and feedback, to engage in a conversation-type of setting. It'll be fun, so please stick around!

02. Another aspect of Draftboard, is that the site will include audio bites, videos, or transcripts of interviews with other musicians and artists. This will be to provide other lenses of how other artists and songwriters do their thing, and in turn, explaining what some songs of theirs, mean to them as well. Get ready for story time, woo!

03. The main idea of Draftboard, will be...can I get a drum roll please?

A draftboard! The main purpose of this section is to get others out of their shell. To open up. To share something that they think might NOT be worth sharing. This part simply will consist of being yourself! I want to build a community where everyone can share a song of their own, or share some lyrics that they wrote, without having the worries of peer pressure or nervousness hang over them.

Think of the world being a large chalkboard, and everyone in the world writes their entire life on one page of loose-leaf paper. After that, they just take a piece of tape and tape their piece of paper, on the board, so it stays there forever. In easier terms, the world isn't just your playground, or proving grounds, it's your draftboard. It's a place for you to create something worthwhile, forever.

As a songwriter, this site is designed to help musicians and songwriters further develop themselves along that goal of sharing their experiences, and sharing their work, whether it's lyrics to a sonf, or a full song itself.

P.S. There will be other little sections provided but for now, these are the main ideas of the site! =)

That-that-that-that's ALL FOLKS! I hope you stick around, and thank you guys for reading and visiting Draftboard!

Till next time, peace out to all my drafters!

Sincerely,
Julian.
